Merry Christmas!

Our Weekend at Active Fun

As promised, here are some pictures of Nicole when we went to Active Fun last November 15. Nicole was afraid of the slides, but her dad managed to convince her to give it a try. We all had a great time playing with the kids, especially since the playground was really big, just right for adults with a kid's heart, too!

A New Layout

I came across this template and I love it! I am so glad I stumbled upon Deluxe Templates. There are lots of other great free blogger templates to choose from! As soon as I'm done backing up the codes for my widgets and other HTML add-ins, I just might give my blogs a whole new look!

Lots of Fun at Active Fun

Last Saturday was the first time we took the kids to Active Fun at SM North EDSA, or at any Active Fun branch at that matter. I have to say I love it! Even though it is more expensive compared to the other playgrounds we've been to, it's well worth it. There are lots of things kids can do in the playground, and the place is BIG. There were a lot of kids there, but you couldn't feel it because the playground was big.

Nicole was scared of the slides, but her dad managed to capture a video of her on the slide. I am not sure how he managed to convince her to slide down because I was unsuccessful in doing so.

As soon as I get the chance, I will be uploading pics of the kids in Active Fun, and Nicole's video on the slide.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Happy birthday Lola! We hope the first birthday you spend in Hawaii is a blast!

I love you!

Just wanted to say I love you!

A New Dress

Here are pictures of Nicole with her new dress. This dress came from my unlce/godfather who lives in Canada. The dress is a bit tight (lol!) but still fits her so I decided to let her wear it yesterday when we went to Keisha's birthday party at school.

Happy Birthday Ate!

On Becoming Toilet Trained

I am so proud of Nicole as for the last two days, twice a day, she takes off her undies or sometimes her diapers by herself and pulls me to the restroom so she can poop in the toilet bowl. For a two year old, I am so amazed that she can already do it. I don't recall Keisha being toilet trained that early.

What I need to do now is to start training her to tell me when she needs to pee. She tells me occasionally that she needs to pee, but sometimes slips are unavoidable and she ends up peeing wherever she is before she even tells me.

In any case, kudos to Nicole for always pooping where she's supposed to!

Museong Pambata

A couple of days ago, Henry and I toook the kids to Museong Pambata as we waited for my mom in law in the US Embassy. I just wanted to share some pictures of Keisha and Nicole and how adorable these two looked.

Our Little Angel

Whenever I look at this picture I cannot help but see the little angel in Nicole hiding underneath the little kid that turns the house inside out whenever she plays, lol!

More Pictures of Nicole and Keisha

Here are my kids again, Keisha and Nicole, snapping away pictures on the netbook. They just woke up and they're already onto snapping pictures!

New Pictures of Nicole with Keisha

Whenever I am working on the netbook and then I have to get up and leave to pee, drink water, or something, these two kids, Keisha and Nicole, will sneak up on my desk every so quietly and start snapping pictures!!!

Stuffed Toys and Laundry

I am having such a great time right now watching how excited Nicole is with all the stuffed toys that her grandma is washing. Most of my old stuffed toys and Keisha's toys were dirty already, and now that they're being washed and dried in the dryer, they all look so pretty. Even though the toys are still wet, Nicole won't stop embracing and hugging them, which pretty much means that we've also been changing her clothes a lot.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

New Pictures of Nicole

Nicole and I snapped these pictures with the new netbook we bought. She was just as excited as I was to use the netbook! When we got the camera working, she wouldn't stop smiling and posing.

Cry Baby

My mom in law and I went to the St. Luke's Medical Extension Clinic early today for her medical exam. Nicole woke up in the wee hours of the morning despite our best efforts to keep as quiet as possible. She ended up crying and crying when we were about to leave.

I wanted to cry as well, because I couldn't help thinking about her and Keisha. Although I knew that their dad would take care of them to the best of his abilities, I guess I just wanted to be there, too.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July to all my parent's relatives in the USA! Have a good one!
